Marble Wrap

It took me 6 hours, but I used white “Carerra Marble” contact paper to wrap my geared bike.

Sorry for the crappy iphone picture:

This shit is on now! I will try to tweet stuff about the episodes if I’m home while they are on. I was just doing it but I’m going out for a while, if its still on when I’m back, I’ll do it again. Been so long since I watched these, I was a little kid back then!!!

I won? I WON!

I wanted to thank all my friends who voted for me and told their friends about the competition who voted foe me. I won the grand prize for the Inhabitat Green Halloween Costume Contest, which includes a solar powered flashlight from bongo and a $100 gift certificate to spend at the Inhabitat gift shop.

I am already thinking of a costume next year. I am pretty sure a Star Wars theme in order.

P.S.

I spent a couple hours today revamping my old Shimano 105 cranks. They are now mirror-finished. Faux-chrome? Something like that.

My Costume is a Finalist!

I entered my Halloween costume into Inhabitat’s Costume Contest and I found out a bit earlier that I am one of the finalists!

http://greenhalloween.inhabitat.com/finalist/

Scroll down the page and click the vote pumpkin near my name, please!

Please Vote for me. I could win a Solar Flashlight, that I sadly want more than anything right now.

There are some good costumes on there but vote for the Cheshire Cat!

NEW iMAC

It may not look that different, but it really is. With options up to  2 TB of storage, 512MB video card and a Quad Processor it could be a real workhorse, but with the clean, sexy aesthetics everyone loves about Apple. Oh and then there is the standard highest resolution screen on any desktop out now. The smallest iMac is 21.5” and has full 1080p HD capabilities, while the 27” is up to 1440p HD (note: that kind of HD does not currently exist). Both come standard with the newer wireless keyboard and the brand new Magic Mouse. Head over to the Apple website to check it out for yourself.

Aside from the “green” aspects of the new iMac (including full LED lighting), the new Magic Mouse seems the most appealing to me. Multi-touch interface in a mouse?! What can’t Apple do? It retails for $69. I am so glad I have a job now.

Just another sign that Apple is Cyberdine Systems , and its only a matter of time before the machines become self aware and Skynet is launched. Until then, this technology rules. (Pun intended?)

Untitled

It might not be as good as BASE jumping in Ocala, but it has caught my attention.

Beast Found in Panama

If that isn’t the most messed up thing you’ve seen in a while email me now. Mail Online has reported this as something that some teenagers “beat to death while playing near a cave in Panama”

I think it is a cover-up. Some say that it is a sloth that somehow lost its hair. All I know is that there appears to be a ridiculous claw coming out of the hand of the creature.
